Image Size Not Reducing or Getting Larger?

If your optimized image size doesn't reduce or even increases after clicking "Optimize Image", try reducing the quality using the quality slider. Lower quality settings (30-60%) typically provide significant size reductions while maintaining acceptable visual quality for web use.

Choose the Right Format

WebP format typically provides the best compression and is recommended for web use. It can reduce file sizes by 25-50% compared to JPEG and PNG while maintaining similar quality. Use PNG for images requiring transparency, and JPEG for photographs.

Quality Settings Guide

90-100%: Highest quality, minimal compression (best for print)
70-90%: High quality, good compression (ideal for professional websites)
50-70%: Good quality, significant compression (perfect for web galleries)
30-50%: Acceptable quality, maximum compression (great for thumbnails)

Batch Processing

You can upload up to 50 images at once for batch processing. All images will use the same quality and format settings. Use "Download All as ZIP" to get all optimized images in a single compressed file, or download them individually as needed.

File Size Limits

Each image must be under 10MB. For larger images, consider resizing them first or using a lower quality setting. Very large images may take longer to process, especially when processing multiple images simultaneously.

When Optimization Isn't Possible

Some images are already highly optimized and cannot be reduced further without significant quality loss. In these cases, the tool will automatically try alternative formats (like WebP) or return the original file. This commonly happens with:

• Already compressed JPEG images
• Small PNG files with few colors
• Images that are already in optimal format for their content
